93 'til Infinity and beyond
The whole reason for the resurrection of this blog was because of the show I went to on July 3rd. It was a last minute thing, but was able to catch Souls of Mischief at S.O.B.s on their Still 93 till Infinity tour. They performed a bunch of album cuts and a track from 3rd eye vision album. Can't believe it's been 20 years. Don't forget to watch the videos, thumbs up, and subscribe. Stay tuned for Rock the Bells footage coming up in October and the Skatalites sometime later this month.

Trillectro
Went to DC with my boy Freebase and it happened to fall on the first ever Trillectro concert. It was fucking amazing. As soon as we got there, Flatbush Zombies started to perform which I would have been pissed if I had missed it since that was one of the few names I knew. Got to see Phony PPL, Tabi Bonney, Casey Veggies, and Schoolboy Q to name a few artists that showed up. They also had the best invention ever....Redbull w/ vodka slushies... #ftw

La Coka Nostra and Jedi Mind Collabo
My boy O-rock invited me to this La Coka show. I was not aware of most of their songs, but they definitely put on a very good show starting with Jedi Mind Tricks and Vinny Paz's Sacrifice verse. Ill Bill was amazing as usual(It was his birthday too), Slaine was dope, but unfortunately no Everlast. I got a sick La Coka Masters shirt in the NY Rangers design. When the show ended, I was outside while waiting for my other boy and was talking about all the artists there and I look at 2 guys walking towards me and I say with a puzzled look, "and Chromeo?"....and P-thugg turns around and nods his head and says "yea!" lmao!!!

The Show Must Go On Pt. 1
The Dilated show was crazy! Jurassic 5 were there too and after the show they were just chillin with the fans outside. Evidence and Chali Tuna came up to us and gave us pounds and shit. Respect due. Eminem had an amazing performance at the other concert I went to headlined by Limp Bizkit. I hate Bizkit but they did have a cool giant anime robot on stage! Em killed it as usual...he came out strapped to the electric chair.LOL. The Ghostface show was pretty ill. I was Frucked up so I felt like shit and wanted to get out of there. He took forever to get on stage...plus we waited on line outside in the rain. Umm not sure what other tickets I posted up but...The History of Hip Hop show was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Public Enemy had a fake KKK dummy and hung it and beat it down!! KRS played all the classics and had b-boys and b-girls everywhere on stage with him. RUN DMC did their thing too.

Insomnia/Cloverfield
Insomnia is a mofo. It's 5:02am and can't sleep. Went to go see Cloverfield today....WORST MOVIE EVER!!! I was amped to see it because JJ Abrams is the shit to me...but this movie first of all made me wanna throw up cuz the camera was shaky as hell. It was like that for most of the movie... I could barely tell what was going on and the characters suck. You don't care about them...you don't care if they die...you kinda wish they did. The movie took forever for the action to start but it was cool. When it ended, people were just like "whuhhhh???" they didn't know what to say. To summarize, I give this movie a 2 out of 5.
